KMUTT announced verification services related to confirming all academic documents and graduation status with a convenience and trust system.
The Registrar’s Office is responsible for the KMUTT academic documents (final-year students and graduates) as follows:
- Transcript
1.1 Transcript (complete version) issued for only KMUTT graduates after the University Council approval, it mentioned a date of graduation / conferred degree and showed “Transcript closed” in the final semester. This document always be in English, moreover, it can be prepared in Thai on demand. Additionally, there are no validity periods and paper-requested amounts.
1.2 Transcript (temporary version) issued for only KMUTT graduates whose conferred degree is in the process of consideration by the University Council approval. This document always be in English, moreover, it can be prepared in Thai on demand. There is a remark mentioned “This is temporary transcript to show that this student has completed all academic requirements for the degree conferred. He/ She is being considered by his/her faculty for nomination to the King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi Council for the conferment of the said degree and valid only within 60 days from the issued date”.
- Letter of prospective graduation date
This document is for a final year of study program student who will be a prospective graduate in that semester/academic year. It is a requirement for the submission of all admissions/job applications, prepared in English or Thai (valid only within 60 days from its issued date).
- Letter of academic degree completion pending approval
This document is for only students who met all graduation requirements, even though the conferred degree is in consideration by the University council approval. It is prepared in English or Thai (valid only within 60 days from its issued date).
- Letter of academic degree completion
Letter of completion, for only KMUTT graduates after the University Council approved the conferred degree, issued in English or Thai. Additionally, there are no validity periods and paper-requested amounts.
- Graduation certificate
The graduation certificate is the 4-consecutive signature certificate for whose conferred degree has already been approved by the University Council, normally issued in Thai. It is prepared in English graduation certificate for KMUTT graduates, especially those whose programs are international / English programs, including all foreign graduates. It is available to collect on the KMUTT commencement date. In addition, it can be received after that date.
Type of KMUTT academic documents as follows:
- Digital Documents
- Paper Documents
Digital academic documents are considered as the KMUTT original documents. Because all recorded information for all files is derived from the trusty central system of the University. Also approved with the digital signature. Furthermore, there is cooperation between the Electronics Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) in the verification. (Except for the graduation certificate)
Paper documents are considered as the copy of the KMUTT original documents. There is a reliable source from the University since it is signed with the digital signature on the special paper which consists of our anti-copy watermark, invisible ink and hot stamp foil silver.
Contrary to a high investment in digital documents, the paper fee is a reasonable rate. Since we care about trustworthy and valuable documents for everyone. KMUTT recommends all institutions/offices request digital documents from our students/graduates or paper documents rather than its copy.
Processes to verify the conferred degree of KMUTT graduate are as follows:
- Self-verification is a confirmed checking process for an institution/organization to review the applicant’s graduation or a digital document issued by the KMUTT from an online service of ETDA through the link https://validation.teda.th/webportal/v2/#/validate. (Except for the graduation certificate)
- Verification by sending all documents to the KMUTT Registrar’s Office to check and reply to the detailed request of the applicants. There are 2 following options.
2.1 Sending the paper documents (transcript, letter of completion) gathered the personal information of the applicant to

2.2 Sending Email with the request attached to regist@kmutt.ac.th
(*Staff will reply to a confirmation within 2-3 days after we receive your request on a case-by-case basis.)
Remarks
– The letter of consent is a must in the verification of KMUTT documents/conferred degree, the own consent form or KMUTT consent form is acceptable. [ Download here EN / TH ]
-Verification of digital documents through the ETDA online service can be checked for only all graduate/digital documents in the academic year 2020 onwards. For graduates before the academic year 2020, verified checking must be done by sending all documents to the Registrar’s Office.
